Prove it!
Fun fact about me: My first job was at a local sandwich shop! I was young enough that not only did I bike to work, I had to stand on a milk crate to reach the cash register.
That was a long time ago, and I’ve been busy in the meantime - check out my work history and role details below.
Work History

I returned to Firespring as the Acquisition Marketing Manager where I helped bring in leads for our Saas product and print services. I created content and thought leadership strategies to capture and encourage quality leads into the funnel and onto the sales team. After five months in this role, I was offered a new opportunity within the marketing team.
As the Director of Retention Marketing, I spent my eight months researching churn and creating a new marketing strategy to increase our client lifetime value, reduce churn, and cultivate brand affinity. Some efforts I saw launch were a client ‘big win’ celebration campaign, client appreciation day, monthly newsletters, educational webinar content, client value surveys, and an online client community.
Sadly, my time at Firespring came to an end as the result of company lay-offs. My silver lining is that I have plenty of energy, ideas, and drive to bring my experience and what I’ve learned into my next role. -
As the Marketing, Brand, and Process Specialist, I oversaw the creation and delivery of all print and digital materials as well as the company website. This was a grassroots team (okay, it was just me) where I got to flex many different skills; layout design, website management, writing, proofreading, editing, graphic design, email marketing, and social media management.
My highlight in this role was creating an annual conference notebook that included heaps of data and dozens of pages of carefully designed content. This notebook was printed, bound, and distributed to over 2,500 conference attendees in 2024.
Additionally at Humanex, I assisted with different process innovations including client coordination processes, internal communications, and the launch of a CRM tool. -
This new, local brewery opened up right as the pandemic became a big reality for all of us. I was part of a small team that worked on different pivot strategies to garner and maintain business during challenging times. I created all digital and print materials for the brewery (menus, informational signs, event posters, etc.) and helped manage their social media accounts. My highlight in this role was creating funny, light-hearted videos for a loyalty program. The videos involved a lizard costume, a polar bear costume, and a speedo...

My time at Firespring began when I applied for a Marketing Coordinator role. Before my interview, the HR rep informed me that they filled the marketing role internally but my application stood out for another team if I was interested. My values aligned with the company and my interview went so well that we both knew we were a good fit. I started my tenure on the Client Success team assisting clients with any and all questions about our propietary website content management system. I learned so much about the specific product, what our clients needed, and got to practice my lifetime of experience in customer service / relationship building.
In November of 2018, another marketing role became available and I changed seats to become the Marketing Outreach Coordinator. In this role I created and executed strategy for our company brand, sponsorship opportunities, conferences & events, thought leadership, webinar lead funnels, educational content, and partnerships. This role is the foundation where I built many of my technical skills in marketing, using project management software, email marketing platforms, UTM Codes, Google Analytics, etc.
My highlights in this role were launching a #love campaign, seeing my national award submission for our CEO make it all the way to the finals, and receiving the ‘Golden F’ for living the Firespring values. -
As the Marketing & Events Intern, I assisted the Downtown Grand Junction team with the district website, coordinating large and small scale events, building relationships and trust with businesses and vendors, sitting in on board meeting, managing social media, photography, videography, media editing, and layout design.
My highlight of this role was seeing the increase in community involvement and pride. And, of course, when I created the #westslopebestslope social media movement, which the DBID absorbed into a full fledged promotional campaign. -
During my time at Colorado Mesa University, I was actively involved with the Student Life programs. My time on PAC was spent creating over 70 events per semester for my fellow Mavs. Anything from coloring breaks, to planting a succulent, to game nights, or stand up comedy, even our large scale yearly student concert. I learned the value of a Day of Event Plan and having a main channel of communication with your team. In this role, I learned to problem solve, resolve conflict, accept feedback, be creative, have fun, and spread positivity.
A couple of my favorite events (and, that I’m most proud of launching) were: Plant Your Own Succulent, PAC Pub Nights, Water Fest, and the Pre-Finals Puppy Petting Party - obviously. -
Throughout my years I’ve worked many-a-service industry gig. From running the cash register at a local sandwich shop, whipping up coffee in a drive thru, checking out and bagging groceries, to working all types of events, and the classic journey of waiting tables to put myself through college.
All along the way I’ve gained innumerable knowledge within the customer service umbrella and how to create a positive customer/brand relationship. I know how to take direction, work well on my own, play nice with others, and most importantly - I’ve got common sense (a seemingly rarer skill as days go by).
Education
I’m a proud, first-generation, college graduate from Colorado Mesa University earning my Bachelor’s in Mass Communications.

Volunteer Work
Since 2018, I’ve been a volunteer Coach for Girls on the Run.
Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization that offers programs designed to help girls develop confidence and life skills through physical activity and interactive lessons.
Girls in grades 3-5 meet weekly to engage in these lessons and train to run a 5k at the end of the 12 week season.
This volunteer opportunity is one of the highlights of my life, if you’re interested in learning more about the organization, visit their website here.
